For this event we are bringing together three crime writers from Scotland who have chosen not to head down the Tartan Noir route of setting their books here but instead have given their books a more international flavour. Mason Cross has enjoyed tremendous success in a short space of time and his latest Winterlong is the thirst instalment of his U.S. set Carter Blake series. Mark Leggatt’s Names of the Dead follows Connor Montrose from Paris to Morocco and finally to Tehran on a nail-biting, action packed ride. Douglas Lindsay, author of the recently filmed The Legend of Barney Thompson has chosen Estonia for his latest, Song of the Dead a new series introducing detective Ben Westphall.
Tickets £9 from the festival website.
